Wee Snarling Beastie

We went to Cuckmere Haven on Sunday and I happened to take a photo of Crumpet just as she was barking at me to throw her ball into the sea. I think you'll agree that she looks pretty ferocious.

I was in Alfriston in August, and then in Dorset, seem to have been on your trial! Two sides of single (19th century) coin: Heads => overseas => the Navy, the Empire = > British; Tails => home => countryside => England.
