Rats in a Sack

Cliff Dixon casts doubt on the offical version of events that Mssrs Tilbrook and Uncles put forward:
Oh dear - This post has all the fingerprints of a certain Mr S Uncles all over it.
"Following the invitation by Derek Hilling the national party secretary of The English Democrats to Richard Barnbrook" - What invitation? Derek and the rest of the NC were unaware that Barnbrook would be addressing the meeting on Saturday. I have a copy of the agenda sat in front of me now, and of the 17 points on it, not one regards a certain Richard Barnbrook addressing the NC of The English Democrats. A vote of no confidence in Uncles was proposed at the meeting, and deemed not admissable as it was not on the agenda - Barnbrook was only allowed to address the NC because it was pointed out that Item 12 (Membership applications from ex BNP members - CV?/RC?) could be used to justify it, and as he doesn't drive and had to be ferried up by another NC member, he shouldn't be left to sit in the foyer on his own (A joke was cracked that we could have a whip round for his train back if necessary)
If I attended as a guest of Roger Cooper, why was item 4 on the agenda titled "Allegations of improper conduct against Steve Uncles - CD & SU" ? Would a guest be on the agenda? Indeed, why have I been at every NC meeting in my capacity as Roger Cooper's deputy for the last 6 months, and have held his proxy vote on the previous 4?
Nigel Farage casts his net over dissaffected English Democrats supporters:
"Some weeks ago I received a message from the South East Chairman of the English Democrats, Steven Uncles. He requested a meeting with me to discuss electoral cooperation.
"At the time I was dubious and delayed answering. However, with their acceptance of Richard Barnbrook, originally elected to the GLA for the BNP, I am adamant that at no point now or in the future must the UK Independence Party be linked with the English Democrats.
"With this move, the English Democrats have put themselves beyond the pale. As a non-racist, non-sectarian party UKIP, at all levels, must have nothing to do with them.
"We urge all English Democrats who feel as we do about this to join UKIP now."
The ranting Alan England retaliates on the English Democrats' little known blog:
What is so absurd about Nigel's outburst is that it continues a long established line of UKIP hypocrisy. SEE: The hypocritical party It seems that Mr Farage would have us believe that UKIP does not actually recruit BNP members.
[...]
WE URGE ALL THOSE IN UKIP WHO WANT A REFERENDUM FOR PROPER PARLIAMENT FOR ENGLAND IN ADDITION TO A REFERENDUM ABOUT CONTINUED EU MEMBERSHIP TO JOIN THE ENGLISH DEMOCRATS ~ NOW!
And Nick Griffin casts doubt on Richard Barnbrook's suitability as a BNP candidate and alludes to an addiction to alcohol:
I have no idea whether you really intend to join the EDP, with its boasts of Muslim candidates and totally undemocratic structure. I would have thought that the fact that they were only able to gain one tenth of our vote in Oldham last week, failing even to beat the Monster Raving Looney Party, would have made even you recognise that there is no possibility of their serving as a vehicle for your ambitions and needs.
In truth, however, that is irrelevant. What matters is that you think that it is acceptable to use the threat to join them to try to blackmail the British National Party into giving you what you want.
It is not acceptable. Your letter confirms your utter selfishness and total unsuitability as a candidate on the British National Party GLA list next year. Over the last few months we have made enormous strides in London . We are building a dynamic team and developing campaigning techniques that, taken together with the likely collapse in the Tory and LibDem votes, give us a very good chance indeed of winning at least one seat.
[...]
The only thing that could make me reconsider would be if, rather than going off to another party, you went to seek the medical and support help for your alcohol problem which I have repeatedly counseled and even arranged for you, went through with it and came back to us with medical proof that you had actually accepted, confronted and conquered the disease which has stolen your dignity and decency.
Your promises and pleadings are worthless, for we have heard them all before, including when you were selected to lead our list in the first place subject to your firm undertaking to stay off alcohol and our mistaken belief that you had overcome the problem. Only real action by you to secure a sustained change can now save you from self-destruction and lead me and the British National Party to reconsider the position.
What a particularly unpleasant soap opera this is, and one from which only Cliff Dixon can emerge a winner.

Communication between the English Democrats and the English Lobby
Submitted by Toque on Tue, 11/16/2010 - 19:00Here's an example of the sort of intelligent high-level communication that occurs between the English Democrats Party and The English Lobby. Steve Uncles is the Director of Communications for the English Democrats, and Alan England is the Director of The England Lobby, an organisation set up by Robin Tilbrook, leader of the English Democrats.
It's interesting that Alan England, who was kicked out of the English Democrats after a very public falling out with Steve Uncles, is back in the fold and in possession of his very own engdem.org email address.
Presumably I'm now bracketed as someone with a funny-sounding foreign name, and as such someone - along with John Demetriou - who is un-English, anti-English, and to be deported should the EDP ever come to power. Or perhaps deportation would be too good for me, after-all the EDP were in bed with a far-right neo-nazi party whose policy was to reintroduce the gibbet.
Alan England, who as 'Cassie' holds court for the English Democrats on the British Democracy Forum, offered this opinion on John Demetriou.
"The indications are that Dimeeteeooo is of Greek national or ethnic origin, assuming he was born here, who presumes to sneer at all things in England! Instead of tolerating such creeps - as we English people have in the past - we should ostracise them, shun 'em, let 'em know we are not going to put up with their bad manners without protest.
After all, if it is really so despicable here, they can always go the land of their forebears and save valuable space here. With luck, they might even enjoy another military junta, which could be more to their sour taste.
Such pieces as Dimeeteeooo's serve to encourage right thinking English folk that something needs to be done to rid us of all those foreigners who do not want to fit in but impose their ideas on us, whether they come from north or west of the borders or from further afield!"
The other recipient of this email, Martin Butler, may be the person that is responsible for one of the EDP's fake Facebook accounts. He lives on the Isle of Wight, so it would make sense for him to control the Isla White Facebook account and parrot Steve Uncles.
I wonder why Robin Tilbrook sanctions this type of behaviour, the man must have the morals of a dog.
Poll: Who is the most pathetic: Steve Uncles, Alan England or Crumpet?
Submitted by Toque on Thu, 08/26/2010 - 09:40Crumpet and I are the targets of a coordinated (and somewhat bizarre) attack from two of the English Democrats greatest intellects.
Steve Uncles has some information on my marriage:
At least Cassie still has a marriage, unlike Gareth Young the "Saviour of Snails".
And Alan England (Cassie) has an opinion on my dog, Crumpet:
Thank you for sharing that with us Gareth. Now you've rid yourself of more bile, you can go back to your cocoa and walking that apology of a dog of yours!
They appear to think that a certain 'Mr Rob' who runs circles around them on their forum, as they attempt to 'out' him and reveal his identity, is me. Well I'm flattered chaps, but it's not me.
The same two individuals are apparently the masterminds behind a plan to bring down the 'racist' HSBC bank (I kid you not). That made me laugh, how can someone so obviously stupid be the English Democrats Party strategist? And why are these sickos still banging on about Chris Lightfoot?
Please can you point us in the direction as to why you feel that Chris Lighfoot was "such a great man" - The default view, is that he was a sick man, Sick about his nationality, and Sick about his own mental health - that's why he took his own life. - I am afraind the truth hurts - get over it !!!!!!
Is the sort of person who makes comments such as these (not to mention jokes like this) really the sort of person that English Democrat members want representing their party?
I'll leave that question hanging for the benefit of any EDP members who might be reading, and we'll move onto the poll.
Who is the most pathetic: Steve Uncles, Alan England or Crumpet?
(You may select one or two individuals from the list)

Steve Uncles: I'm not a racist, honest
Submitted by Toque on Sat, 07/03/2010 - 13:48The English Democrats' PR guru Steve Uncles has claimed that the racist joke that he posted to two internet forums that he frequents was posted by someone else using his account.
How sad that Steve cannot take responsibility for his 'joke' and apologise, and how sad that he is still continuing with his personal vendetta with the tragically deceased Chris Lightfoot.
I'd be interested to hear from the forum administrators of the British Democracy forum and the Cross of St George forum, from whence the two screenshots came, to know whether the offensive posts were posted from an IP address consistent with Steve Uncles' other postings. I have little doubt that they were.
Alan England, who runs the English Democrat's English Lobby division, knows Steve Uncles personally from his time on the EDP's national council. Posting as 'Cassie' on the British Democracy Forum, Alan offers us this insight into Steve Uncles' character: "Uncles is a liar, deceitful and unduly secretive"
The only funny thing about Steve's joke is the fact that Google sees fit to use it to advertise a Polish dating site.
Why I didn't vote for the English Democrats this morning
Submitted by Toque on Thu, 06/04/2009 - 11:04As a supporter of the Campaign for an English Parliament I might today be expected to vote for the English Democrats Party who support an English parliament. This special election day post reveals why the English Democrats will not be receiving my vote.
The latest survey from YouGov (pdf) indicates that the English Democrats enjoy the support of 1% of the population, which rises to 3% in the North of England where they have some form of agreement with the holo-hoaxers of the England First Party (see English nationalism vs British nationalism). The exact nature of the arrangement between these two parties remains unspecified and there is no mention of it on the EDP's website. However, the website of the England First Party shows their members delivering leaflets for the English Democrats and speaking at the launch party.
If the English Democrats do poll well in the North, as YouGov suggests, then they will no doubt trumpet this arrangement as a success. But for me the ends do not justify the means, and as the EDP remain silent about their association with the England First Party we cannot even know what 'ends' have been agreed to.
In February the English Democrats 'five-year election strategist' - Steve Uncles - posted what can only be described as a racist joke on the British Democracy Forum.
ENGLISH DRINKING RULE
A Polish guy drinks his beer then suddenly throws his glass in the air, pulls out a pistol and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, 'In Poland our glasses are so cheap that we don't need to drink from the same glass twice'
A Pakistani, obviously impressed by this, drinks his beer, throws the glass into the air, pulls out his AK-47 and shoots the glass to pieces.
He says, 'In Pakistan we have so much sand to make glasses that we don't need to drink out of the same glass twice either.'
A English chap, cool as a cucumber, picks up his beer and drinks it, throws the glass into the air, pulls out his gun and shoots the Pole and the Pakistani and catches his glass.
He says, 'In England we now have that many Pakistanis and Poles that we don't have to drink with the same ones twice.
God Bless England!
By April Steve Uncles had become the English Democrats lead candidate for the EU Parliament elections in the South East, a fact which led Bearded Socialist to ask "Should this guy ever be elected?". Two other questions spring immediately to mind: Should the English Democrats have allowed him to stand, and; Why didn't they force him to apologise or eject him from the party?
To date there has been no apology for this 'joke' from either the EDP or Steve Uncles, the lead candidate for my region. There is no way that I would vote for this man even if his 'official' line is somewhat different.
I look forward to the day when I can celebrate my English Identity, without the implication that I am 'Racist or a Bigot' - pride in one's Country is natural & healthy. - Steve Uncles
Presumably because a lack of pride in ones country is unnatural and unhealthy Steve Uncles then embarked on a series of distasteful attacks on Chris Lightfoot, all round good egg, genius, and online democracy and civil liberties campaigner, who tragically committed suicide. Tim Ireland takes up the case:
Rather than risk yet another ridiculous legal threat from yet another [expletive deleted], I'll mostly let Steve Uncle's own words speak for him in this post:
"You may recall the 'self hating' blogger - Chris Lightfoot, who in 2004, 'went off on one' just because he got a leaflet through his letter box with an England Flag on it. 18 Months ago the poor lad Committed Suicide - that's what happens when you hate your own country, you have no identity, no focus - nothing." - Steve Uncles, 30 May 2009
And just in case that wasn't enough:
"Good! Let's hope you go the same way as Chris Lightfoot" - Steve Uncles, 30 May 2009
And, as you can see, this is not a one-off or a 'moment of madness' but a theme that Steve Uncles keeps returning to:
"If we get the Liberal's way, and have a multi-cultural "soup" everywhere in the world - what fun will it be when we go abroad ? You self haters, really need to sharpen up you game. Chris Lightfoot, did not do ANYTHING for English Democracy. The guy was a waster." Steve Uncles, March 18, 2009
If another reason to not vote for Steve Uncles was needed, then his mocking of a suicide victim is it.
Then came the bizarre spat with blogger John Demetriou, which began when Alan England, former National Secretary of the English Democrats Party, now head of The English Lobby*, went on the attack over John's Greek surname:
The indications are that Dimeeteeooo is of Greek national or ethnic origin, assuming he was born here, who presumes to sneer at all things in England!
Such pieces as Dimeeteeooo's serve to encourage right thinking English folk that something needs to be done to rid us of all those foreigners who do not want to fit in but impose their ideas on us, whether they come from north or west of the borders or from further afield!
In the flame war that ensued Steve Uncles insisted that John Demetriou and anyone who was critical of the English Democrats and their manifesto, and in particular anyone who did not vote English Democrats, was "anti-English". Alan England (who goes by the handle Cassie on the British Democracy Forum) went further and referred to me as an anti-white racist. Another contributor he called "anti-white" and "racist" when they raised objection to the '14 words' that the England First Party use as their guiding principle, coined by David Lane: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children".
Now, kindly explain what is unacceptable about the aspiration: "we must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children" - Alan England
Eventually Steve Uncles was banned from the British Democracy Forum and crossed over to the CoSG forum to post the following challenge (which was almost immediately removed by the forum's administration - but not before I took a screenshot).

However much I agree with the principle of an English parliament I simply cannot bring myself to vote for a party that includes such odious individuals posting such odious material on public forums. I will leave the last word to Alan England himself whose thoughts on the conduct of the English Democrats when he fell out with them echo mine now:
England deserves much, much better than the English Democrats Party which is not truly democratic, nor does it accord long established rights to its members.
It is a counterfeit political party which too many of its members slavishly worship, instead of engaging their brains on something acceptable. They come here posting their inane comments, but hypocritically deny others similar opportunities to post comments on their websites.
* The English Lobby, relaunched at the English Democrats 2007 conference, was originally set up in 2004 by Christine Constable, the then Vice Chairman of the English Democrats, with support from two other parties: The Third Way and The Freedom Party. Today it operates under the direction of Alan England and Robin Tilbrook, Leader of the English Democrats Party.

UPDATE: An EDP member sets me straight.
Toque old chap please try and your facts right.
The press conference was organised and hosted by Cllr. Mike Johnson (yes he was once an EFP member) - who is now an EDP member. He was the EDP European Election campaign organiser for the NW Region. What he is now I don't know (ask Robin Tilbrook)?
All NW EDP and EFP members were invited to the press conference, and as far as I know, about 25 EDP members (including the 8 Euro candidates) and about 5 or 6 EFP members turned up.
There were four speakers - 3 from the EDP (Robin Tilbrook, Ed Abrams and Cllr. M. Johnson) and 1 from the EFP (Peter Rushton).
Those are the facts - happy
UPDATE II: Another EDP member sets me straight.
To qualify for a National Party Political Broadcast in the EU Elections you need to stand in ALL 9 English EU Regions - The North West of England, was going to let the whole project down, so at the last moment Cllr Michael Johnson, was contacted (a half cast man) to help.
He did and the Project Went ahead.
You Sir, have been rather silly with your assumptions - Gareth Young (Toque)is a member of the British Labour party, you have been tricked - think long and hard about what you have done.
